Fahneystock and Mine Hole road are still closed, due to some hot spots still burning in high places they cannot reach. The forestry service said, however, people who own camps will be allowed past the barriers to get to their camps. It is doubtful that the barriers will be down before the weekend at this point. I have inspired another person to start a blog. Check his out Peter's Camp Report
He has a picture from Spinning Wheel Vista of the burn area.

Paula, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through your blog and looking at the pictures over the past day or two. We have been coming up to our camp ever since I was in diapers. I'm 45 now, and it's still my favorite place on earth. My wife prefers plumbing (imagine that) so we spend more time in our RV at Pettecote Junction than at the cabin. However, I get up hunting whenever I can. Your site has answered so many questions that I've had such as "just who drove off the mountain last November. Also, we are looking forward to following your directions to the plane crash ruins we've heard so much about. I look forward to meeting you in person next time we're up in Leetonia.
